This impeller model when coupled to a high pressure pump performs well in water movement. With less end pressure compared to the closed rotor, the open rotor aims to work with a slightly larger volume of water, allowing water with up to 10% solids in the 0.5mm particle limit.

 

When admitting solids to suction, be aware that abrasion on internal components will increase and equipment life will also decrease.
